Project Overview

Treats N Eats Desserts needed a modern website that could reflect the personality of their brand while making it easy for customers to explore a wide variety of desserts. The goal was to create a visually engaging experience that feels clean and intuitive, while also building a foundation that can grow with the business over time.

The Challenge

The business offers a large and diverse menu across multiple categories, which made organization and usability a key concern. Customers needed to quickly browse items without feeling overwhelmed, especially on mobile devices. At the same time, the menu was subject to change, and maintaining a fully static setup would make updates inefficient. The site also needed to support multiple pages, customer inquiries, catering requests, and future integrations without becoming difficult to manage.

Our Solution

We designed and developed a custom frontend using React and Vite, focusing on performance, clarity, and ease of navigation. The site structure was broken down into clear sections including menu, gallery, catering, locations, reviews, and contact, allowing users to move through the experience naturally. The menu was carefully organized into categories such as ice cream, waffles, milkshakes, cookies, and savoury items, with a layout that makes browsing simple across all screen sizes. To ensure reliability and speed, the menu was implemented as a structured system that can be easily maintained while also preparing the groundwork for a live integration with the Clover POS system. This approach allows the business to transition to real-time menu syncing without needing a full rebuild. Form handling across the site, including order inquiries and catering requests, was built using React Hook Form and Zod to ensure accurate validation and a smooth user experience. The interface was designed using Tailwind CSS and shadcn components to maintain a consistent visual style, while also allowing flexibility for future updates. Additional features like charts and structured data handling were introduced where needed, giving the platform the ability to expand into analytics or reporting features if required.
