CDN File Management Platform

Project Overview

This web-based CDN platform helps users upload, organize, and share files quickly and securely. It’s designed for teams that handle large media libraries and need an easy way to manage content online. Users can upload files up to 5GB with live progress tracking, create and tag folders for better organization, and share public links or private folders with a few clicks. The main goal was to build a fast, secure, and mobile-friendly file management system that simplifies everyday workflows for content teams.

The Challenge

Eightlabs needed a simple yet powerful system to store and share travel content with staff and partners. Their existing setup didn’t support large file uploads or reliable storage, private folder access for team members, easy sharing options for clients, or efficient search and tagging. As a result, file management became slow and inconsistent, leading to lost time and duplicated work.

Our Solution

We built a modern CDN file management app using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript, featuring a responsive interface powered by Tailwind CSS. The platform supports fast uploads of files up to 5GB with real-time progress tracking and allows users to organize files by creating folders and adding tags for easy navigation. A powerful search function helps find files instantly by name, type, or tag. Secure storage is ensured through role-based permissions and private folders for sensitive content. Users can generate secure public links for easy sharing, perform bulk actions like moving, deleting, or downloading multiple files at once, and enjoy a clean, modern UI with dark mode and full mobile responsiveness. It also includes PWA support, allowing installation on mobile devices with offline access and automatic login. This solution provided Eightlabs with a smooth, fast, and intuitive way to manage their growing content library.
