Hennafied.to is a portfolio and booking website built for a Scarborough-based henna artist serving the Greater Toronto Area. The goal was to create a visually elegant platform that highlights the artist’s work, communicates pricing and services clearly, and makes it easy for clients to book. The site combines a clean layout with a premium aesthetic, using soft tones, serif typography, and smooth animations to reflect the artistic nature of the brand while remaining simple and easy to navigate.
The client needed a professional online presence that could showcase their growing portfolio while keeping the booking process simple. Traditional booking systems were unnecessary and would add friction, since most clients already preferred booking through Instagram. The challenge was to design a site that builds trust, clearly explains services, and directs users toward booking without overcomplicating the experience.
We built a fast, responsive React website with a strong focus on visuals and user flow. The platform showcases 23 portfolio images across categories, along with clear pricing, booking instructions, and aftercare information. Instead of building a complex backend, we streamlined the process by directing all bookings to Instagram DMs, aligning with how the client already operates. The design uses a refined color palette, custom typography, and subtle animations to elevate the brand while keeping performance fast and mobile-friendly.
